Just as the Raritan River connects towns and communities, Raritan River Week was established to show a unity in the efforts of organizations and towns “From the Headwaters to the Ocean.”

We encourage everyone to attend at least one clean-up and help out the communities around you.  Our events page has an extensive list of clean ups throughout the year from all of the participating organizations.

Our resources, compiled by all the organizations involved, give you a wide variety of information to make you more knowledgeable about the Raritan River and other waterways in New Jersey. There is information about how to build a rain barrel, rain garden, and plan a clean up in your own community.
