Overview
Children ages 3-6 and their adult caregivers are invited to join us for a 90-minute nature themed monthly program. Each month our “sprouts” will use their senses to connect to the natural world through nature stories, short hikes, songs and nature crafts.

We will start out in the classroom, finding out how to make green by mixing colors, creating green paintings, and reading about growing plants. Join us for a trip to the Community Garden where we will plant tender lettuce to munch on as it grows. We will hunt for plants that are green and growing and maybe even eat some pea shoots. We will smell the soil and look for worms. Wear clothes that can get dirty and boots if you have them.

Please note: For liability reasons, adults and younger siblings must be registered in addition to each Sprout. While we do accommodate younger siblings, they may not disrupt class. It is expected that parents/caregivers excuse themselves for a few moments if necessary.
